Laura Wright

Director of Human Resources

Laura Wright is the Director of Human Resources at Broadway Mechanical-Contractors, Inc. Laura has over 30 years of experience working with construction related companies in the Bay Area, serving in a variety of roles including executive assistant, office manager, human resources manager, and assistant project manager.

As Director of Human Resources, Laura is responsible for setting and administering all HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines, overseeing all hiring, and serving as the BMC’s office manager. Since joining BMC in 2004, Laura has overseen a staff that has more than tripled in size, while continuing to implement new systems and processes for our continually changing work environment. In 2008, Laura became certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) with the HR Certification Institute. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Northern California Human Resource Association (NCHRA). In her free time, Laura volunteers with fundraising and event production for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and has served as a volunteer for the Contra Costa Crisis Center.
