Mission Bay Block 26B consists of two, five-story buildings (Buildings 2 and 3) containing a total of 219,000 sq ft of laboratory, research, and development space located within San Francisco’s Mission Bay redevelopment zone. Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals and the corporate headquarters of the drug maker Nektar currently occupy the two buildings in the complex. The project included a public park, located between the two buildings and a local parking structure. BMC performed the office core and shell, consisting of 5 floors of bathroom cores and Storm, Sanitary Waste & Vent and Domestic Cold Water plumbing systems. This project is currently pursuing LEED® Silver certification.
