The 990 Polk Senior Housing is a 72,192 sq ft, mixed use senior housing facility located in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. The nine-story building contains 120 apartment units, including 81 studios and 29 one-bedroom apartments, 3,000 square feet of community space which includes a large open lobby, outdoor patios, solarium and community garden as well as 2,850 square feet of ground floor retail space. The project includes 50 units for formerly homeless seniors along with 70 for low-income seniors earning less than the Bay Area median income. BMC provided complete installations of the Sanitary Waste and Vent, Storm, Domestic Cold Water, High Pressure Cold Water, and Hot Water Supply and Return plumbing systems.
