The 409 and 499 Illinois St. project is a 782,800 sq ft facility consisting of two 6-story buildings over a 2-level below grade parking structure located within San Francisco’s Mission Bay redevelopment zone. The 6-story buildings are constructed for life science laboratory, research and development and contain 10,000 sq ft of street-level retail. BMC performed the office core and shell, consisting of 6 floors of bathroom cores, floor drains and waterlines and completed installation of Storm, Sanitary Waste & Vent and Domestic Cold Water plumbing systems.
