Crescent Cove

Crescent Cove is a 155,597 sq ft affordable housing development located in the Mission Bay neighborhood of San Francisco.  The project is has 82 studio units, 90 one-bedroom units and 66 two-bedroom units and includes amenities such as laundry facilities, community space, and an outdoor area with barbecue facilities.  Crescent Cove is the largest affordable housing development in the new master-planned Mission Bay community.  The project was designed to provide workforce housing and is targeted for Mixed Low Income Families at rates that are 50% to 60% of the average rents of the area.  Because the project was built on a former rail yard, BMC was prohibited from using cast iron during construction for environmental reasons.  As a result, BMC prefabricated underground using schedule 40 PVC piping.  BMC provided complete installations of the Sanitary Waste and Vent, Storm, and Domestic Cold Water plumbing systems for this project.
